Canada Mission Outreach
What is Canada Mission Outreach all
About?
This mission outreach is about taking the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the
Cree Indians of Northern Saskatchewan. It started as a result of the
vision of a missionary couple, missionary minded churches and the cooperation of
Northern Evangelical Canadian Mission. This outreach now encompasses
several northern
Canadian villages and
involves Colorado evangelical churches and dozens of teens and adults working
together in teams for an exciting short term summer ministry. Every
summer a caravan of committed Christians treks north with their Bibles, VBS
materials, and a truck load of hugs for the eager children of Northern SK.
Anticipating sharing their faith with the many
adults and children who need to hear about Jesus' sacrificial death for them on the cross for
their sins.
Including
travel up and back, all this takes place within about a ten day period.
Though it is a very quick (but exhausting) ten days, there are months of preparation.
Selecting effective teaching materials,
putting teams together, intense spiritual warfare training, learning effective ways
of sharing your faith and figuring out the logistics of getting everyone and
everything across the Canadian border occupy our time leading up to the trip. It is the desire of the organizers of this ministry that individual churches
will prayerfully consider taking on new villages as each year the village people
hear about the lives being changed in their own back yard.
If you would like to be a part of this ministry team please fill out this form and submit it.
